Kamada announces with great sorrow the passing of Mr. Ralf Hahn, the company’s chairman and co-founder

Kamada regretfully announces the passing of the company’s co-founder Mr. Ralf Hahn, who served as chairman of the board, and held a controlling share in the company.

Ralf Hahn was a visionary and pioneer in the establishment of specialty biopharmaceutical industry in Israel. He founded RAD Chemicals with his partner David Tsur, CEO of Kamada, and together they founded Kamada in 1990. As company chairman Hahn founded and led Kamada from an idea to becoming a groundbreaking, leading company in its field of development, manufacture and marketing of specialty lifesaving biopharmaceuticals.

Hahn passed away last night at the age of sixty-six in Argentina, his permanent residence. He held shares and served as director of various pharmaceutical companies in Israel and abroad, including Teva Tuteur SA. His son, Jonathan Hahn, has been serving as a director at Kamada for the past two years, and is expected to continue filling this position.

Kamada CEO David Tsur said today: “The Kamada family has lost one of its founders today, a leader and a visionary. We express our condolences to the family. On a personal note, Hahn was my partner. Together we dreamed and together we fulfilled our dreams through Kamada’s achievements over the years. Hahn aspired to uncompromising excellence, and with his good nature he knew how to lead a team of talented managers and employees toward success. I shall miss Hahn greatly and I am certain that his vision and high abilities which have been integrated into Kamada, will ensure the company’s continued success”.
