Kamada has several registered patents demonstrating the company’s unique advantages in the production and use of both AAT (Alpha-1 Antitrypsin), also known as Alpha-1 Proteinase inhibitor (API) and Transferrin.
Aerosolized AAT, one of Kamada’s most exciting developments, has also been awarded ODD (Orphan Drug Designation) status in the US as well as in Europe. The device through which the respiratory form of AAT is administered - eFlow - is also covered by a pending patent.
